An Unforgettable Adventure on the Big Island: Exploring Nature and Culture**

My Big Island trip was filled with excitement and new experiences. Traveling without our parents, my friends and I flew to Hilo International Airport. We visited the famous Farmers' Market, where I bought a beautiful necklace. The Lyman Museum and stunning Akaka Falls left a lasting impression on me. I celebrated my birthday during our stay and enjoyed activities like trivia. We explored Rainbow Falls, the Tsunami Museum, and the Thurstons Lava Tube. Our final day included visits to the Black Sand Beach, a unique bread shop, and the Onizuka Space Museum. This trip was truly special!

  3. The airport • Did some of our BIT book • Went without our parents • Went on the plane • We flew to Hilo international airport • We landed

  4. Farmers market • Had food • I bought a necklace • Was big • Had lots of people there

  5. Mokupapapa • Learned lots • Saw debris that animals eat • Saw the ocean maps • Watched a vid and went on a hunt

  6. Lyman Museum • It had the museum and house • The museum had a lot of stuff • The house was the actual house • The house looked like the oringal

  7. Akaka Falls • The falls were beautiful • I got some great pics • The hike was short

  8. KMC • We stayed there to sleep • We ate there • We had trivia there • We celebrated my birthday there

  9. Day 2 • Rainbow falls • Naha stone • Tsunami museum • Jagger museum • Thurston lava tube • Devastation trail

  14. Day 3 • Black sand beach • Bread shop • Pu’uhonua Park • Holoholokai beach park • Onizuka space museum • Catch plane home

  18. Home! • I was happy to be home • I hugged everyone • Missed everyone
