Ergonomics • It means the scientific study of equipment design for the purpose of efficiency, comfort, and safety. • Ergonomics is important because almost everyone needs to fit on the equipment or their will be no use on making the equipment if it is only for a specific person. • Ergonomics is made for the average people.

  3. Ergonomic Model • We took our group’s measurements and combined them into averages to make our ergonomic model. • We took the averages so our ergonome would have a high probability to fit on equipments. • Equipments are mostly made on average people.

  4. Examples Chair height can be adjusted so feet can touch the floor. Arm rest can be adjusted to make elbow relax.
