  3. Water Consumption • 440 litres/day (£1.10 per day) • Push taps and flow regulators 6 l/m (8-outlets) • Cistern displacement devices (4-toilets) • Cost £250 • Point of use electrical heaters and zip heater

  4. Gas Consumption • Space heating only • Good control BMS compensated and TRV’s • Well insulated pipe-work • Poor efficiency c.55% compared to 90% • £1,700/yr 12.6 tCO2 per annum - existing • £1,037/yr 7.7 tCO2 per annum - new

  5. Office Energy Reduction (5-steps) • Measure • Choose energy efficient equipment • Switch it off • Awareness campaign • Switch off to cool down

  6. Electricity Consumption • All tungsten filament now compact fluorescent • Mixture of lighting mainly energy efficient • Appliances continually left on standby • Timer plugs photocopier/shredder • Stickers & Posters • £2,398/yr 12.9 tCO2 per annum

  7. Building U-Values • Solid brick walls • Loft to be insulated through warm-zone • Single-glazed window units • No renewable energy
