  2. Calentarse • Describe how you would write a dialogue. What do you need in order to write a dialogue? • Have your homework out and ready to be checked.

  3. Repasar la tarea • Go over homework.

La prueba oral You and your partner are going to collaboratively write and memorize a short dialogue that will contain: • Saludos/Greeting • Introducción/Introduction (add in mucho gusto expressions). • ¿De dónde …?/Where … from? • Edad/Age • Gustos/Likes …, pero … Disgusto/Dislikes • Despedidas/Farewells (tengoqueirmeand tengoclase are not farewells expressions.) Both partners have to write the dialogue. In case one is absent. Dialogue must be written neatly by both students. I will read it on the day of the quiz. This quiz is due by Friday.

  5. Additional Information • No notecards or cheat sheets. • Both partners will have to answer to all of the prompts in the categories. • This quiz is not timed. But it should not take you longer than 3 minutes. If it does, that means you didn’t memorize it well enough. • Quick Hint: You have already wrote your basic prompts for the warm up, use them for this dialogue. • You may choose your own partner. But you are still responsible for the work.

More Info • If you are absent you are still responsablefor the Oral Quiz on Friday and to keep contact with your partner. • I suggest that you exchange phone numbers/e-mails or any methods of communication. • If you are an Edmodo student feel free to communicate through that. • You are welcome to stay in my classroom to practice your dialogue after school. • You will not be judged based on your writing or spelling. Only on the pronunciation and correct verbal usage of grammar.
