Victorian Times. This is Queen Victoria. She was born in 1837 and died in 1901. Victoria was christened “Alexandrina Victoria”.However , from birth she was formally adressed as her Royal Highness Princess Victoria of Kent.

  1. Victorian Times This is Queen Victoria. She was born in 1837 and died in 1901.

Victoria was christened “Alexandrina Victoria”.However , from birth she was formally adressed as her Royal Highness Princess Victoria of Kent. • Victoria was the only daughter of Prince Edward ,Duke of Kent and Strathearn • She inherited the throne at the age of 18 . • Victoria loved singing, painting and drawing. She also enjoyed going to the Opera.

  3. Victoria served as the queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland from 1837 until 1901(64 years). In 1876 she also became empress of India. During her reign the English monarchy took on its modern ceremonial character. She ascended to the throne when the United Kingdom was already an establishedconstitutional monarchy. Victoria married her first cousin and they got 9 children.

  4. On 17th March 1883, she fell down some stairs at Windsor, which left her lame until July; she never fully recovered and was plagued with rheumatism thereafter . • She died at the 22nd January 1901 (aged 81) and she was buried at the 2nd February.
