Wellness Coalition Priorities • Advocacy/Policy: How will SEPA Wellness Coalition mobilize and empower those in our region to move policy? • Systems: How can we shift/change the way significant systems in our region make decisions about wellness-related policies, programs, service delivery and applicable resources? • Integration: How will SEPA build collaborative bridges among multiple systems, organizations, community and other stakeholders?

Behavioral Health Chair: Sue Lackmann Lancaster General Hospital Support and sustain mental and emotional well-being in the SEPA region. Physical Activity and Nutrition Chair: Celeen Miller The Wellness Connection Increase opportunities for healthy eating and physical activity in the SEPA region.

Featured Speaker LGBT Cultural Competence for Health Professionals Liz Bradbury, MS – Bradbury-Sullivan LGBT Community Center How to Obtain CME, CNE, CHES CreditParticipants must attend the entire activity and complete the evaluation online in order to earn credit hours and obtain a CE certificate. A link to the online evaluation system will be sent to all registered participants who attend the activity that will contain instructions and a personal ID number for access to the system. All online evaluations must be submitted by (February 7th, 2017) to receive continuing education credit for this activity.

Disclosure • Purpose of the Activity: Improve health care and public health professional LGBT cultural competency. • Objectives of the Activity: At the conclusion of this educational activity, participants will be able to: • Identify definitions, language and symbols important to the LGBT community; • Identify current legal context for LGBT Americans / LGBT Pennsylvanians; • Discuss usage of pronouns and language with regard to same-sex couples, LGBT families and Transgender individuals; • Identify LGBT health disparities and barriers to care for LGBT people; • Assess LGBT health syndemics framework; and • Evaluate successful LGBT health promotion campaigns
