Red foxes are the most common fox • Foxes are nocturnal animals • Foxes live in dens • Male foxes are called dogs or reynards • Female foxes are called Vixen • Baby foxes are called kits, pups and cubs
They normally live for 2 – 5 years • Foxes are carnivores this means they eat meat • Foxes live and hunt alone but when a group of foxes are together it is called a skulk • Foxes have very good hearing
