At UWEKIND International School in Sofia, students and parents actively participate in waste separation and recycling initiatives. Bulgaria's government has implemented waste separation programs with designated containers in towns and the establishment of recycling factories. Students conducted a scientific experiment by burying plastic bags to demonstrate their non-biodegradability. In a recent competition, students created eco-friendly bags using natural materials and won by showcasing their creativity and environmental awareness. Parents are also engaged, supporting eco-friendly projects like tree planting and environmental education.
