  6. MDE Update • Testing ALL • SRSD/SDS – Identified • Home Language Survey • ELPA Screener • Test all students in district at time of ELPA

  7. MDE Update • AMAOs • Progress: • 75% of students make progress from one test point to the next – not necessarily congruent years

  8. MDE Update • AMAOs • Proficiency: • 10% of students have attained proficiency. Determined by local district considering ELPA results and other uniform criteria. Enter the exit date into SRSD by EOY report. Essentially they become FLEP

  9. MDE Update • AMAOs • AYP: Good news!!!! • Many schools that don’t make AYP DO make AYP for ELLs. • Keep up the good work!!!
