GSS Looked at guide in agenda book (pg 11) Must be different than any others – includes meeting planners 2 days dedicated to local and international talent, last day to showcase tradeshow Financially – 5 different poss. Models Bid process guidelines and could use whichever model. Team made up of 1st chair (Scott), Reg, pres, past pres and pres-elect to look at bids and then chose host association – no GSS if nothing comes forward – don’t want to force it on the Fed. Changed the bid process (page 12) planning team – whomever the host association brought forward, including inter’l members. – host association must be comfortable with their team Accepted the Summit guide as written with these 2 changes SA has proposal ready to go, but need to modify based on these 2 changes – 30 days to decide on 2009 Summit ??
