This study explores the characteristics and attitudes of individuals addicted to the ideal body image, stemming from personal experiences with eating disorders in my family. A survey of 36 participants from 7th to 12th grade reveals how societal standards affect self-esteem and drive extremes in body image pursuits. The study highlights that high school males generally report higher self-esteem compared to females, yet both genders feel pressure regarding body image. The research faces challenges in defining addiction and understanding among participants.
