Content • Preparatory lectures and orientations at LSBE • Study Abroad in China with Chinese students. • Trips to several Chinese cultural landmarks such as The Great Wall, Forbidden City, Summer Palace (Beijing, Suzhou, Hangzhou, Shanghai). • Field trips to Chinese companies and/or international companies located in Special Economic Development Zones (Tianjin).

  5. BEIJING • Learning about Chinese history and culture. • The Great Wall, the Forbidden City, and the Summer Palace, along with many other cultural and historic sites. • Olympics stadiums.

  13. Cost • Cost: About$3,800, covering • Tuition for 3-credit course • Textbook • All Housing • Meals in Beijing, Shanghai, Suzhou, Hangzhou • Fieldtrips to Beijing, Shanghai, Suzhou, Hangzhou • International health insurance • International Student Travel Card • Chinese visa

  14. Cost • Cost: not covering • round trip airfare (about $1300) • Students are responsible for the cost of their own meals. The estimated cost is approximately $300-$400 for the four week period. • Other items not included are the cost of obtaining a passport and personal spending money. It is recommended that all participants bring additional money for personal and miscellaneous expenses.
