Ben Nevis Hike to the highest mountain in Scotland Ben Nevis is the highest mountain in Scotland and the whole of the UK. It is located in the Grampian Mountains (also Grampians), which are one of the main mountain ranges of Scotland, in the north of the country. The area Lochaber belongs to the well-known Scottish Highlands, the next larger city is Fort William.
