  3. Damper • Traditional Australia bread that is made without yeast. • It is baked on camp fire. • Ingredients : • 4 cups flour • 1 teaspoon salt • 1 tablespoon butter • 1 cup milk • 1/2 cup water

  4. Balmain Bugs • Flat Shrimps with white meat and mild flavor. • Similar lobster. • Ingredients: • 2 cups plain flour • 30g butter • 3 Balmain bugs • 2 garlic cloves

  5. Billy Tea • Tea prepared in a metal cans on an open fire. • Strong and flavoured • Ingredients • 3 tablespoons of loose-leaf billy tea • 800ml water

  6. Meat Pie • Little pies with meat • Usually served with tomato sauce. • Ingredients • 1 large brown onion, finely chopped • 500g lean beef mince • 1 tablespoon cornflour • 3/4 cup beef stock • 3/4 cup tomato sauce • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  7. Chiko Roll • The Chiko Roll is an Australian savoury snack • The Chiko roll consists of beef, celery, cabbage, barley, carrot, onion, green beans, spices in a tube of egg, flour.

  8. Vegemite • Black, thick spread made of yeast and vegetables. • Mainly eaten on toast. • Australians are not happy without Vegemite !

  9. Anzac Biscuits • During World War I, mothers and wives baked this biscuit, and than they sent it to the Australians soliders. • INGREDIENTS • 1 cup rolled oats • 3/4 cup desiccated coconut • 1 cup flour • 1 cup sugar • 125g butter • 2 tablespoons golden syrup • 1/2 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda • 1 tablespoon water

  10. Aboriginal food • Pepper • Spinach • Leaves of myrtle • Bush tomatoes • Macadamia nuts
