Definition and coverage of the sector • Publishing (22.10): books, newspapers, journals, periodicals, sound recordings, and other publishing • Printing (22.20): printing of newspapers, printing nec, bookbinding, pre-press activities, and ancillary activities related to printing, and • Reproduction of recorded media (22.30): sound recording, video recording, and computer media. • Workshop comments: • recorded media not really covered, different activity from printing & publishing • commercial printing activities of companies & packaging not covered in study Directorate-General for Employment, Social Affairs and Equal Opportunities – Unit F3
