  1. NEA eRegistry System Monthly Progress Meeting 16 Jan 2014 5 PM – 6 PM CR20 Presented By: Alvin Yap (Project Manager)

  2. Agenda

  3. Service Requests • Utilisation as of 16 Jan 2014

  4. Service Requests • Approved, UAT • In Discussion

  5. FRNMS Timeline • We have reduced the development duration by 1 week from our previous estimates. • Although we have catered 2 rounds of UAT sessions, we have included ‘Trial Run of UAT by COL’ activity just before the actual UAT to ensure that UAT round 1 can be completed without any major issues.

  6. Issues

  7. Issues - Harmon.ie • Double Prompt and Outgoing email stuck in Outbox • Steps: 1. Click Send. 2. When prompted to save, click No. [Screenshot #1] 3. Prompted again to save. Click No and email will be sent out. [Screenshot #2] • Additional observations by one of the users: If the 2nd prompt is somehow “Esc” by me, the draft email is retained in the Outbox. Once it’s there, I have tried but failed to send it out, and had to resort to re-drafting the email from scratch and resend. • Reported by • Alvin LIM (RSD), Azlina MANAS (EHD-NWRO), Suresh K (CCPD), Sara Boh (DPC) • Affected users environment • Windows 7, Outlook 2010 and harmon.ie version 4.0.0.1552. • SecureAge

  8. Harmon.ie Issue • Screenshot #1 • Click Send. Prompted to save email.

  9. Harmon.ie Issue • Screenshot #2 • Email message closed. User prompted to save email again.

  10. Harmon.ie Issues • Actions taken so far • When Alvin Lim had reported the double prompt issue on 13 Nov, we had escalated the case to harmon.ie on the same day. Similar to us, harmon.ie was not able to replicate the issue on their end. As such, they had suspected that it could be due to a corrupted installation. They have proposed a reinstallation of 4.0. However, if the problem still persists after the reinstallation, we should install the latest version 4.1. • We have also checked with our colleagues that are working on a project with MEWR. Users who are sending out secure emails via SecureAge will experience such emails getting stuck in the Outbox. Their resolution was to install harmon.ie 4.1. Re-installing the current version 4.0 does not resolve the issue. • At present moment, we have temporarily disabled harmon.ie in the affected users’ laptop. • We have shared with Alvin Lim and Azlina an alternative approach to file their emails. • We have submitted the version 4.1 to SOE for certification and packaging.

  11. Harmon.ie Issues • Follow up actions • UAT for harmon.ie 4.1 using laptops that have same environment (Windows 7, Outlook 2010, Harmon.ie version 4.0.0.1552, SecureAge) • Once UAT has completed, we suggest to push version 4.1 into the affected or SecureAge users’ laptops first.
