Growing Good Fruit: The Importance of Love and Faith in Our Lives

Jesus, who died for us, wants to be close to us and guide us towards goodness. Romans 6:23 speaks to the reality of sin and its consequences, but in Christ, we become new creations (2 Corinthians 5:17). John 15:12 reminds us to love each other, as God loves us. Love, as described in 1 Corinthians 13, is patient, kind, and enduring. Through love, we find the essence of our faith.

  16. You’ve got to be LOVED to SHOW LOVE. THERE IS NO OTHER WAY.

  17. For God so loved the world he gave his only son.

  19. 1 Corinthians 13; 4-8, 13 Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous, it does not brag, and it is not proud. Love is not rude, is not selfish, and does not become angry easily. Love does not remember wrongs done against it. Love is not happy with evil but is happy with the truth. Love patiently accepts all things. It always continues strong. Love never ends. There are gifts of prophecy , but they will be ended. There is the gift of knowledge but it will be ended. Continued ……
