Join the International Committee this Fall 2012 for an exciting opportunity to collaborate and contribute! Our goal is to foster a close-knit community where members feel empowered to share ideas and make a difference. Our focus includes critical initiatives like Vitamin Angels, WAPI production, and LN-4 prosthetic hands. Participate in fun events such as themed dance parties, and hands-on workshops to create positive change locally and globally. Discover how you can be the change you want to see. First meeting: September 17, 7-8 PM.

  3. Goals • Objective: to build a close-knit committee in which members feel comfortable exploring their ideas and taking initiative to give back to the international committee • Our focus • Vitamin Angels • WAPIs • LN-4 • ________? (for YOU to decide)

  4. Vitamin Angels “Vitamin Angels reduces child mortality worldwide by connecting essential nutrients (Vitamin A) with infants and children under five. Essential nutrients enable young immune systems to fight infectious diseases, helping children attain good health and the opportunity to lead meaningful and productive lives.”

  5. Costume/Theme Dance Party • Pauley Ballroom(?) • Collaboration with other clubs such as Innovative Design/Entertainment, The Berkeley Project, etc. • Theme(???) • Costume contest—prizes • Refreshments/Food/Games • Photoshoots • Flash-mob marketing

  6. WAPIs • WAPI= water pasteurization indicator

  7. WAPIceCream Social (10/8) • We will teach you how to make WAPI’s at a committee meeting so YOU can lead the students to make a difference! • Goal of 200 WAPI’s

  8. LN-4 • Prosthetic hands assembled by us! • Delivered to over 60 countries reaching out to more than 9000 people in need
