Objection #1 - Biblical gender roles are a product of the fall and sin. • Gen 1:26-28 Created Equal& Distinct • Gen 2:18-25 Created to Compliment • Gen 3:1-16 The Fall assumes Adam’s headship. (Vs. 9,17, and Romans 5:12)
Objection #2 - Biblical gender roles fosters inequality that leads to abuse. “Male domination is a personal moral failure. NOT a biblical doctrine” Ray Ortlund
Objection #3 - Equality cannot exist where leadership is not shared equally. • Equality is not sameness. • Subordination is not denigration.
