Retention Rates • 25% of the JK class in 2004-05 stayed at CCS to graduate last year • 38% of the JK class in 2005-06 have stayed and are returning to CCS as 6th graders this year • 61% of the JK class in 2006-07 are entering 5th grade this fall at CCS (16/26 students)
Strategy Week (and beyond) Verse And it is my prayer that your love may abound more and more, with knowledge and all discernment, so that you may approve what is excellent, and so be pure and blameless for the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God. And Its Sister Verse And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ, so that we may no longer be children, tossed to and fro by the waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by human cunning, by craftiness in deceitful schemes. Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ, from whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love. You widen the circle of friends for yourself and others • Competing- you see many things in life as a game, and you feel great joy when you win. You truly hate to lose because you are always striving for first place. • Presence- you were born to be at the front of the room telling stories and taking the lead. Other people watch you and listen to you.
