  2. How to Prepare the Soil • Loosen the soil by plowing • Buy fertilizer and work a lot into the soil • Add compost to the soil a few days after planting • Buy topsoil and add it on top of the ground

  3. Planting Seeds • Research online or in an almanac the recommended distance between each seed • Research the depth each seed should be planted into the ground • They should be planted in straight rows

  5. Watering • After planting the seeds, watering is very important or else your seeds cannot begin to grow • They should be watered until soggy for the first week
