  2. milli • Millipede – crawling creature with MANY legs • Millisecond – a thousandth of a second THOUSANDTH!!!!!!!

  3. mem • Remember – to call back to your mind • Memory – something you remember • Memorial – something erected to remember a person or an event REMEMBER!!!!!!!

  4. gress • Progress – a step forward STEP!!!!!!!

  5. labor • Labor – work • Collaborate – to work together WORK!!!!!!!

  6. myo • Myocardium – middle muscular layer of the heart MUSCLE!!!!!!!

  7. vac • Vacuum – an empty space • Vacant – empty • Evacuate EMPTY!!!!!!!

  8. oligo • Oligarchy – a government by a few FEW OR SMALL!!!!!!!

  9. ose • Fructose – sugar that occurs in fruit juices and honey • Sucrose – sugar found in plants and sugar beets SUGAR!!!!!!!

  10. osis • Neurosis – a nerve condition • Psychosis – condition where there is a mental disorder CONDITION!!!!!!!
