This report analyzes the responses of 308 HR professionals regarding the impact of active duty service on their organizations. Conducted from May 4 to May 10, 2004, the survey explored challenges faced as a result of employees serving in the military, including reservists and National Guard members. The response rate was 18%, with a margin of error of +/- 6.0%. Key insights into the challenges organizations face in maintaining workforce stability and managing the transition of active duty personnel are highlighted, providing valuable data for HR strategies.
