  14. Lab 25 Ming Leaders- Built the Great Wall, not well liked. Mongols- nomadic warriors, Chinese built the wall to keep them out. Laborers and Craftsman- Unskilled laborers built the wall using packed earth. Skilled craftsman used the stone. Chinese Soldiers- They guarded, helped build, and even lived on the wall. Chinese People- Were taxed by the Ming Government to pay for the wall and forced to work on it. Manchus- took over the Ming throne when the Chinese rebelled.
