  2. Homework & Grades • Homework is expected to be turned in on time. • No late assignments will be accepted. • Grades are based on homework, tests, reports, and projects. Unit tests, reports and projects can carry twice the weight of other assignments. • You can check mygradebook.com for percentages.

  3. Supplies • 3-ring binder 2 ½ to 3 inches • Subject dividers with plastic tabs • Loose lined paper-no perforated or tear out sheets • Single subject spiral • 2-3 pencils and pens • Highlighter • Pencil sharpener that catches shavings • Library book for silent reading • Colored pencils and markers • 3”x5” lined note cards

  4. Classroom Rules • Follow directions the first time • Be seated when the bell rings and write down assignments • Come prepared with pencils, paper and homework • Keep hands, feet and objects to yourself • No headgear, put downs, or unkind words

  5. Consequences • Verbal warning • Time out-Think sheet to be signed by parent • Escort by Administrator-Parent will be contacted

  6. Rewards • Praise • Fantastic citizenship grade • Eagle Bucks • Participation in Village Activities

  7. Grading • Tests and projects are 60%. • Quizzes= 25% • Community Service= 10% • Homework= 5% • All tests & quizzes require a parent signature and it will be counted as a homework grade.

  8. My Gradebook. com • It is your responsibility to know what your grades are and what assignments need to be made up. You can do this by going to mygradebook.com. The link is available through the school’s website or my web-page. • I do make mistakes. I am human. Check your grades to make sure your grades are correct. • The classword is: Per. #-riedner-0910 • The password is your student ID #. • All classwords are available on the school’s website in case you forget.
