  10. RESEARCH 1. USING THE FAITH MAP TOOL TO DEVELOP A CLEAR AND CONCISE VIEW OF THE CONGREGATION AND THE LEADERSHIP. 2. ANSWER AS MANY QUESTIONS AS POSSIBLE. 3. METHODS: INTERVIEWS, INTERNET, DENOMINATIONAL MATERIALS, COMMUNITY INFLUENCE AND INVOLVEMENT, WORD OF MOUTH, ASSOCIATIONS, OTHER

  11. DECIDE …. IF FAITH HOUSE IS/IS NOT PARTNERSHIP MATERIAL • Is this faith house equipped to do what I need? • How can I engage this faith house ? • Who is my contact? • How can I help them? • How can they help me? • What are my realistic goals for this partnership?

  12. VISIT PLAN TO MAKE AT LEAST THREE VISITS A REGULAR WORSHIP SERVICE A COMMUNITY EVENT A MID-WEEK ACTIVITY

  13. CONTACT • AFTER COMPLETING THE FAITH MAP TOOL, OBSERVATION AND RESEARCH PLAN TO MAKE CONTACT WITH THE IDENTIFIED LEADER (S) YOU WILL NEED • A CONCISE PLAN AND ROAD MAP FOR THE PARTNERSHIP • A TIMELINE • AN OPEN MIND

  14. DEVELOP A CONTRACT/MOU MOUs should • Be clear and concise • State each parties expectations should be written • Give a Timeline • State each partner’s goal and target dates • Identify benchmarks should be clear • Explain what happens if goals are not met • Be Signed by authoritative parties
