  1. Sock Monkey Newssksksksks The Sock Monkey News Mrs. B olding10-20-14 I have updated our classroom web site with new pictures! Take a look and see what we are doing at school. We are learning about different strategies to use when adding numbers. Please practice math facts with your child (flashcards, etc.) to improve their fluency. Skills for this week – Reading: Sequencing Events, Text Features Word Study: Short e and words (“ed” word family) Writing: Sequencing Events, organization Math: Addition Strategies Science: Force and Motion *Please work with your child on writing numbers and letters correctly. I have quite a few students who are still making reversals.* Word Wall Words for this Week after draw pictures read was write well inside stop ask Conferences are here! Thanks to all who have scheduled. I can’t wait to meet with you and let you know how well your child is doing this year! Our Fall party will be October 30th. Donations of candy or small items for treat bags would be appreciated!
