The Plan • Create a robust mathematical model to calculate “Booking Score” • Resources: senior graduate student from computer science or engineering to analyze existing wait list and OR scheduling data • Time: 3 months • Implement a tool that takes as input a waitlist and a OR slot and returns case to be booked that maximizes all considered criteria • Resources: same as above • Transfer tool to CCO to integrate it with the Wait List IS and make it accessible to all surgeon offices province-wide • Resources: CCO to provide • Time: Fall 2012 • Budget: <25K (excluding CCO involvement)
