Box 4502 New York, NY 10014 Dear Ms. Orman, As the program chair for the ASO: Associated Student Organization at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, I have heard so much about you and read all of your books and all of our students think you are brilliant and would be thrilled if you could speak at our special graduation convocation on May 26. As you know many graduates spend many hours in the classroom and write many research papers however, are still clueless about personal finance in the real world. One of our advisors as stated you as being the queen of personal financial tips. Therefore, you have been selected overwhelmingly by our students to speak to them. We are interested in your real world financial advice to our young graduates as they descend on their journey into their future. We are offering $1,000 as an honorarium to you. We will provide a dinner banquet at the Thomas & Mack Center which is also the site for the graduation. We can set up arrangements for you to stay at the Embassy Suites Hotel which is conveniently located .8 miles away from campus. This hotel has been recently renovated for an even more welcoming stay. Our banquet evening will begin at approximately at 6p.m. with an hour to socialize, this will be followed up with dinner at 7p.m. and you speaking from 8p.m. till 8:30 or 8:45p.m. Transportation will be covered by the University Campus Services if needed for you and a guest. Hello my name is Melissa Austin I am the Marketing Manager at Software.com. Our company is holding a company-wide meeting and would love to use your resort location to hold our meeting. We are looking for a conference/vacation/retreat at various locations and thought yours would be the perfect destination. This will be a 4 day event. We have 85 engineers, as well as product managers and marketing staff. In request we would need 80 rooms to accommodate our employees, and will also need three conference rooms to accommodate 25 people or more for one and one half days. If you could send me your room rates, conference facilities, and entertainment options for family that would be wonderful. There are two periods we are interested in April 20-24 or July 10-14. Knowing you have an off-peak time I am also wondering what kind of room rates you offer during this period. If you could also send a brochure of your entertainment and times that would be great. One of the evenings our CEO would like to host a banquet for about 125 people. If you have a space big enough for this event that would be greatly appreciated by our CEO.
