This science fair project by Rebekah Jin and Angelina Lee examines the effects of normal water and brine water on plant growth. Two identical seeds were planted, with one receiving normal water and the other treated with brine water. The results showed that the plant watered with normal water thrived, while the brine-watered plant failed to blossom and ultimately died. Controlled variables included seed type and environment, with the independent variable being the type of water used. This project highlights the detrimental effects of saline water on plant life.

Statement of the Problem What happen to the plant which is having Normal water or Brine water?
Project Overview • We bought two same seeds, gave Normal water to one seed, gave other seed Brine water.
Research • The plant which is having normal water growing well. • The plant which is having brine water doesn’t blossom. • The plant which is having brine water died.
Variables • Controlled variables : We bought two same seeds, gave Normal water to one seed, gave other seed Brine water. • Independent : Gave brine water to plant. • Dependent : we let the seed, soil and environment same.
Hypothesis • The plant which is having brine water might be died.
Materials • Seed • Soil • flowerpot
Procedure • Plant • Give one plant brine water • Give other plant normal water • Put them in the same environment • wait
Conclusion • The plant which is having brine water died before they blossom.
