Join the .Apps.for.Good competition! Create an app with friends to solve real-world problems. Students from Year 8 to 14 in the ICT department are invited to unleash creativity, prioritize ideas, and develop innovative solutions like the 'Beat the Book', 'Promise Keeper', and 'RMBme' apps. Deadline to contact Mr. Duffy by Friday, 18th October. Next meeting on Monday, 21st October, 1.15pm at IT4.

  3. Beat the Book App solution Problem Frustrated with studying books at school and embarrassed about failing English tests Helps encourage students to read by rewarding them with a game for reading and understanding the books set by their teacher

  4. Promise Keeper App solution Problem Adults kept promising rewards and conveniently forgetting them! Lets young people, their parents and teachers agree and track a task, a timeline and a reward -- creating a mini-contract

  5. RMBme App solution Problem Forgetting items for important meetings — and forgetting about important meetings Uses sounds, pictures and other customisable features to alert and remind users about anything
