  1. Class Clown By: Johanna Hurwitz

  2. Setting The story takes place during the school year. The time period was important to the story because the problem in the story was that Lucas gets in trouble at school all the time and does not make good decisions. The main location of where the story takes place is school. This location was important to the story because if the location did not take place at school then Lucas would not be called class clown.

  3. Lucas This characters goal was to get more attention from students, teachers, and parents. I think this because, he is a riot, bad, & loud.

  4. Cricket Cricket is important to the story because she tries to beat him in everything. For example, when they made the bet she wanted him to lose the bet because ,she wanted him to not talk for the day. And get him to end up in trouble.

  5. Problem and Solution The problem was when Lucas was not paying attention . This was a problem because he would not be able to pass the grade . The problem was solved when Mrs. Hockadaywalked in to the class with bags in her hands that were full of awards and Lucas started to pay more attention.

  6. Vocabulary Committee-a group of people. Interesting-something you like. Excited- something that your looking forward to. Absolutely-you will for sure do it. Courage- brave & not scared to do it.
