UK Transport Design • Current role of team is to provide Transmission design • Including Ciena/Huawei SVCT support, review test specs, witness, sign-off • Including 100G POC Test for NGWDM • Current organisation is 15FTE • Proposed role of team is to do Transmission Design and verification • but vendors take ownership of SVCT, we engage by exception • 100G POC test stops at the end of June 2012, no further work • Proposed organisation is 13FTE • 2FTE move to BTTC on 3/8/12
