  3. ANALYSIS OF EXISTING CONDITION

  4. Horizontal blind with reflectable material The main goal of this project is to not only improve daylight quality but also to decrease summer heat gains and winter heat loss. I suggest the reflectable horizontal blind that is dependent upon considering the improvement of daylight quality in different times and different dates. In summer time, the reflectable blind brings the daylight into deeper space by replacing the direct sunlight to indirect light. On the other hands, the direct sunlight is kept during winter time, therefore, it prevents heat loss. The daylight quality also will be improved by the combination of interior materials.
