AIDS Competence empowers individuals and communities to effectively respond to HIV/AIDS by acknowledging its reality, leveraging strengths, and reducing vulnerabilities. It emphasizes the importance of learning and sharing experiences to unlock the full potential of everyone involved. This approach fosters collaboration among communities, organizations, and policymakers to continuously develop human capacity for effective responses. By creating Facilitation Teams that support knowledge creation and sharing, we can embed lessons learned into organizations and improve AIDS Competence collectively.
