  3. Quizzes • We now have awesome quizzes to ensure we do our movie viewings! • This is instead of a Mid-term exam however.

  4. Dualism • Dualism of Western Philosophy • We mark dualism as either positive or negative (Good or evil) • Dualism of Eastern Philosophy • Ying-Yang • Not positive or negative • Both sides are equally important • Opposites exist in harmony

  5. The Semiotic Square • A logical game, invented by ‘semioticians’ in Europe to figure out how to pull apart dualisms and how to deflate them. They try to figure out how dualism controls us.
