This report presents the analysis of the MuTr Level-1 delay settings during the 2013 run, focusing on the results from the Yankee trigger samples taken at approximately 1MHz. Key findings highlight the performance and distribution patterns of hit samples associated with both track correlated and gap correlated hits across various planes. The sweet spots for delay settings differ by plane type, with a preferred setting of Level-1 delay = 6 for optimal performance, particularly in non-stereo configurations. Comparison of the performances in Northern and Southern regions indicates minor differences, showcasing effective system calibration.

Also MuTrg-FEE installed (non-stereo except for St-2, Gap-2) planes and MuTrg-FEE not installed (stereo + St-2, Gap-2) planes are summed separately. Performance is mostly driven by the timing difference between MuTrg-FEE installed and non-installed planes. See Page 21-27 for individual plane comparison.

Conclusion Best Level-1 Delay • Consistent between 2 (Track Associated & Gap Correlated hits) samples. • The sweet spot differ by 1Bclk between planes with and without MuTrg-FEE planes. • The sweet spot exists between 5 and 6 for MuTrg-FEE installed planes whereas 6 -7 for non-installed planes for South. Level-1 delay=6 seems a good choice to make both planes happy. • There is no common sweet spot for the North case. Given the requirement of better momentum resolution, I prefer Level-1 delay=6 to obtain the best performance in non-stereo planes. • No significant difference in performances between North and South unlike Run11/12. Thanks to Yoshimitsu and Mike Leitch to fix pedestal offset issue.
