  1. OUR ITINERARY

  2. ADRIA We will start our itinerary from our school yard. We will leave at 8 o’clock by coach to reach Loreo

  3. LOREO : Here we will visit the Antiquarium, which was opened on September 2004 and were the finds of Corte Cavanella are on show. The Antiquarium is open on Tuesdays and Saturdays morning.

  4. ROSOLINA : After visiting the Antiquarium we will cross the city of Rosolina where we will admire the St. Anthony’s Church built by the Sanudo family. It became a Parish church in 1670 but in 1982 it was damaged by a fire and now hosts the statue of Holy Vergin attributed to the sculptor Bonazza.

  5. PORTO VIRO: Then we will move to Porto Viro where we will visit the Visitors’ Center where tourists can have information about itineraries. We will have a short break at Zafferano restaurant in Porto Viro.

  6. CA’ ZEN: At 1 pm we will reach Cà Zen mansion, now is a B&B surrounded by green and peace. In the afternoon you can have horse-riding or English lessons as the owner is of Irish origins.

  7. SANTA GIULIA: We will leave at 8 o’clock from Cà Zen and we reach the bridge on Gnocca Po where we will rent some bikes and will visit the beautiful “Sacca di Scardovari”. Here, we will cross the suggestive ponte di barche on Gnocca Po which allows to get to Santa Giulia a small village in the country-side. From Santa Giulia we will move towards the mouth of the river Po cycling on the river banks and before getting to Sacca di Scardovari we will admire some branches of the Po river which flow into the Adriatic Sea.

  8. BONELLI : Going along the coast, we will stop to visit the biotope of the Bonelli Marshes, situated in Donzella characterized by brackish waters, old dunes rich of vegetation which limit the fish ponds and by channel fresh waters

  9. CA’ MELLO: Not far from here we find Ca’Mello green Oasi where we soak up in the typical flora and fauna of the Po Delta and practice bird watching.

  10. Now You can have a short BREAK at the famous restaurant “Marina 70” where we can taste excellent typical fish dishes

  11. After the break going along the coast we will pass in front of the “STABULARIO” place where the mussels fished in the Saccaare depurated, packed and sent to be sold.in the markets , then we will admire the typical fishermen’s pile-dwelling huts used to fish mussels.

  12. Here we will leave our bikes and we will come back to Adria by bus at 7 pm
