The Pasadena Independent School District's Adult Transition Services (ATS) offers a comprehensive 18+ program designed to assist students with disabilities in their transition from high school to adult life. ATS focuses on essential life skills, community experiences, and employment readiness, including meal preparation, budgeting, job-seeking skills, and social skills development. By fostering family partnerships and community connections, the program prepares individuals for independent living, post-secondary education, and meaningful employment opportunities.

ATSEmployment The ATS program focuses on the development of the student’s work related behaviors and job seeking skills. ATS supports career exploration, apprenticeship training, service learning/volunteering in the community and actual employment.
ATSRelated Services Related services are provided in the community setting to ensure continuation of these services beyond high school
ATSPost Secondary Education ATS supports students participating in local community college enrollment and connection tothe Office of Disabilities.
ATSFamily Partnership Parents and family members are a vital part of ATS ! • Encouragement, support and guidance • Network for job leads • Financial support • Connection with community agencies • Monitoring of health and safety • Support of self-determination for the adult • Provide opportunities for students to explore interests and learning activities • Provide transportation School districts only service students through the age of 22. ATS works with families to help them find places of employment that families can support when the school district is no longer there.
