Format of Event • Presentations to give information • Workshops - small, informal groups for learning and encouraging discussion (covering Financial Services, Administration & IT, DSPE, Business, Graded Unit, Economics, Marketing, Statistics, Accounting and Writing Assessments) • Identifying and sharing good practice • Question & Answer Sessions • Suggestion Box

HND Frameworks • Why have these been revised? • To ensure the content of all Units is current, fit for purpose and reflect industry needs • To help ease any burden of over assessment • To remove/reduce prescriptive assessment conditions if they are not required • To improve the statement of standards in the Unit specification

  7. For example……. • Example 1: Student starts HND Business September 2011 Student will complete HND programme July 2013 HND Business – G7V4 16 • Example 2: Student starts HND Business September 2012 Student will complete HND programme July 2014 HND Business – GE7X 16

Revised HNDs • Some new Unit specifications (including Graded Unit) • New Assessment Exemplars (for new Units) • New Course Tutor Guide – for each HND • All new HND frameworks will be added onto the website July. All information for current frameworks will remain on website until the finish. • Other useful documents e.g. FAQ
