Preparation for APAC07

APAC07, hosted by KEK and CAT at the Centre for Advanced Technology Indore, will take place in late January or early February 2007. As a sequel to APAC04, this event aims to enhance local expertise in JACoW by providing targeted training. KEK is committed to sending engineers to facilitate knowledge transfer to CAT, ensuring a strong understanding of JACoW practices. Additionally, support from IHEP Beijing and PAL/POSTECH will bolster local capabilities, fostering an enriching collaborative environment for participants.

Little experience with JACoW for CAT people • finding chance to train • (not fulfilled at PAC05, neither at PCaPAC2005) Publication • KEK will send a few engineers to CAT to transfer JACoW know-how to CAT • EPAC will train CAT people • KEK, and hopefully IHEP Beijing & PAL/POSTECH, will give on-site support (at APAC07) JACoW TM, PAC05
