Educational Interventions to Combat Counterfeit Medicines in the Philippines

This study aims to tackle the issue of counterfeit medicines in selected areas of the Philippines through targeted educational interventions. We have developed and disseminated informative brochures and posters for both healthcare providers and consumers. Additionally, training sessions were held for drug sellers to enhance their understanding and promote safer practices. The project assessed the knowledge and behavior changes among consumers and drug sellers before and after the interventions, revealing a significant increase in awareness and willingness to engage with informational materials.
