2. Biology Outcome • Able to use the taxonomy of living things to justify their grouping. • Able to sound the importance of living in balance and harmony with the environment.

Key Experiences • Can justify the goal purpose of classification • Can compare and contrast the five major kingdoms • Can analyze and give reason to why major groups of organisms are classified to kingdom level • Can analyze and explain through example how Linnaeus groups species into units • Can conduct observation to determine some plant characteristics and anatomy to find similarities and differences to justify the plan taxonomy • Can use a dichotomous key to identify animal and plant • Can synthesis a new dichotomous key • Can describe characteristics of microorganisms and fungi • Can describe characteristics of invertebrates and comparing between them • Can determine the key characteristics used to classify organism with the modern system classification (three domains and six kingdoms.
