  1. Welcome to Oakland Catholic High School! Spirituality, Scholarship, Service

  2. TuesdayNovember 19 DAY 1

  3. Today is the 2nd turn in for the Thanksgiving Drive.  If you have a completed checklist, please send it with a student down to the office.   Please do not bring the actual items, only the list.  

  4. The OC and CC SADD organizations are hosting a yoga session next Tuesday November 19th at 3:00 at Central Catholic. The cost will be $5. If you are interested please sign up in the office.

  5. To all in the Science Fiction and Fantasy club! A meeting will be held this Wednesday the 20th after school. • This week's theme: J.R.R. Tolkien, author of the famous Lord of the Rings trilogy. • All are welcome to join!

  6. There will be an Italian club meeting today, Tuesday, November 19th right after school in room 209

  7. Juniors and Seniors will be receiving a ballot in homeroom today about the Cedar Point trip in May. • The trip will be on Saturday, May 17, 2014 and the price is approximately $100 which includes the ticket, bus, drink wrist band and one meal. • Please send the ballots to the office immediately after homeroom.

  8. Last years Yearbooks have finally arrived!!! • Stop by Mrs. Haslett's room in J101 to pick yours up!

  9. There will be a Campus Ministry meeting next Monday, November 25th.   • We will meet in room G10 at 2:45.   • Please plan to attend to sign up for upcoming volunteer events and prepare for our Thanksgiving service.

  11. "The deadline to submit to Forte has been moved to December 3rd. Remember our theme is past, present, future. We look forward to seeing your submissions!"

  12. Oakland Catholic Presents: “Frozen in Time” Semi-Formal Dance December 13th 2013 Single ticket 20$ couple ticket 30$ 7:00-10:00

  13. Attention students wanting to participate in PJAS in science or math: • You must see Mrs. Benedik in Room G24 this week to get a form for participation in PJAS. The online registration system is now open for your project. • Be sure to meet the deadlines for registration and print out all needed forms. See Mrs. Benedik with any questions

  14. Attention seniors: • The yearbook deadlines are fast approaching. You must submit your baby picture online by November 25th. No photos will be accepted late.  • Also, you must inform Hills Studios which photo to submit to the yearbook by December 1st to be included.  • See Mrs Flynn or Mrs. Haslett with any questions. 

  15. Submitto Forté • Are you an ARTIST? Are you a photographer, a poet, a doodler, an author, a dancer, a painter? • Then submit your art, whatever it may be, to FORTE, OC’s Art and Literary Magazine • Drop off submissions in Room 208 or send scanned or video submissions to oaklandcatholicforte@gmail.com • Our theme this year is PAST, PRESENT, FUTURE • Deadline for Submissions is December 3
