Holistic 6-Traits Rubric A passing AIMS essay will demonstrate each of the following: Organization - Clarity, focus, control, balance (22%) Ideas - Thorough discussion, relevant details (22%) Word Choice - Range of carefully chosen words (11%) Sentence Fluency - Varied sentences; natural flow (11%) Voice - Awareness of and commitment to academic audience (11%) Conventions - Effective use of conventions; few errors (22%)
