  1. Regular Geometry • Homework will be assigned each night and expected to be completed (all work shown, problems copied) to earn credit. • Homework is a assigned to prepare you for your next assessment, so why not do them all? • You may choose to complete either the even or odds- however the more practice you have, the better you get! • The following block, answers will be given and questions answered. • You (and only YOU) are responsible for YOUR EDUCATION!

  2. Warm-Up:*Fold your paper vertically once and horizontally twice.*How many rectangles do you have? Number your paper left to right*On the chalkboard, take a picture of questions 1-12, 1-16*Try the odd problems (if you need a calculator, please let me know)

Welcome to Geometry & Honors Geometry Geometry Notebook: Syllabus, Assignment Sheet, Dividers labeled units 1, 2, 3, ….through 12 (see syllabus) • You will also need graph paper in your notebook as well as your “Storybook” which will be given to you in class • Regular Geometry: you will not be responsible for the concepts in red. • Honors Geometry: You will be responsible for all items on the power points, in addition to those in red. Online hw assignments (graded) will be due each Friday beginning the second week of school.

  5. Keys to Success: • I highly encourage you make corrections on all quizzes/tests/SOL questions using the rubric on the wall! I will randomly (and unannounced) collect at least 1/nine weeks for additional points (if correct and all calculations shown). • After 5 hw assignments, I will collect and record your hw stamps; if 5 consecutive hw stamps are earned, you will earn 1 extra credit point.
