  1. R OALD DAHL By Louis Cole

  2. Introduction • Roald Dahl was born September 13, 1916, and died November 23, 1990 at the age of 74 • Dahl was born in South Wales, at Llandoff, and was the second to last of his parents’ children • Roald was married twice, first to a Hollywood actor Patricia Neal, in 1953. His second wife, is called Felicity “Liccy” Neal, in 1983. • His children were Olivia, Tessa, Ophelia, and 1965 was Lucy • He was buried in the graveyard of the church of SS Peter and Paul

  3. Social Contribution Roald Dahl, to me, is the most amazing author I’ve ever seen. His publisher would stop reading any other person’s work to read his newest Idea or update. His stories were either about his life, a person he knew, or they were bedtime stories for his kids at night. The BFG was about a person who would blow in dreams for kids. The BFG was based on his brother, who was very tall. He is the most ‘splendiferous’ author with a legacy that lives on.

  4. Childhood • Roald’s Stepsister passed away in 1920 • Harold Dahl passed away a month later • Mrs. Pratchet’s Sweet Shop • St. Peters Dear Mother, ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Love, Boy

  5. Adolescence • Repton • Boazers or prefects • Fags • Games

  6. WWII Adulthood The Hurricane Snakes The Green Mamba Boys Africa

  7. Slide of your Choice Those who don’t believe in Magic will never find it Roald Dahl had that message written upon a plaque. It is placed in a maze to get to the house, and he had many others. He would say that before speaking about a pair of birds that would roost in a smokestack at the Gipsy House. The birds would return to the same spot after migrating back to England,

  8. King of England Roald Dahl was born in 1916 and King George V was the ruler then. He ruled from 1910 to 1936 he was a navy cadet who loved the sea. He never intended to become a King, but took the post because his brother died.

  9. Interview • Did you ever want to eat the chocolates that Willy Wonka Created? • What people would you wish to thank and reacquaint with later in life? • If you could ever take back something you said, reword or undo and action you preformed?
