  3. William Wordsworth Early Life • Born in April 17, 1770 • In Cocker mouth, Cumberland in the United Kingdom • In December 25, 1771 • New born • Sister • Dorothy • In 1778 his mother died • Eight years old • School

  4. William Wordsworth’s Education • In 1779 • School • Hawkshead • In 1787 • College • Published first piece • Sonnet • The European Magazine • Graduates in 1791

William Wordsworth’s Career • Moves to France • Interested in the French Republican • December 1792 he left France • Ran out of money • First collection published in 1793 • He settles in Dorset • Meets a poet named Samuel Taylor Coleridge • 1797, they become really close and release their work together • 1798 , the Lyrical Ballads published • 1810 , he isn’t close with Coleridge anymore • 1814 he publishes The Excursion • Gets a job as a stamp distributer • Moves to Rydal Mount

William Wordsworth’s Personal Life • He and his sister were separated for nine years • In 1791, he fall in love • Annette Vallon • 1792 he left his pregnant women • War breaks and then he couldn’t go back to France • In 1802 he returns to France to meet his daughter • Marries Mary Hutchinson • June 18, 1803 his son John is born • 1806 his son Thomson is born • 1808 his daughter Catherine was born • 1810 his son William was born • Children die in 1812
