Workgroup Mission • The Interface Architecture workgroup enables standards-based methodology, practice, and guidance for the transport, routing and packaging of residential mortgage information. • The workgroup defines and develops message exchange patterns for enterprise and trading partner exchange of data and documents for a variety of mortgage banking industry activities.

Workgroup Structure • Designed to enable distributed systems communication • use a standards-based methodology • establish a communications practice • provide guidance on a messaging framework • Workgroup includes • Previously known Enveloping Workgroup • Previously known eMIT Workgroup (eMortgage Interface Transactions)/eMCIT (eMortgage Closing Interface Transactions)
