  2. Habitat • They usually live in Antarctic and Arctic oceans. • They can live in every single ocean on earth. • In summer they go to California. • The blue whale is found in all major oceans of the world.

  3. What does it look like? • It is blue and it has two blowholes. • It has a dorsal fin. • Its very big but its skinny. • They don’t have teeth.

  4. Food • It eats krill and small fish. • Most of the time it eats krill. • They do most of there feeding in cooler waters.

  5. Babies • After a female is pregnant for 10 to 12 months. • She gives birth to one baby at a time. • Blue whale calves are usually born in winter.

  6. Other cool facts • They can weigh up to 200,000 300,000 and 400,000 pounds. • It’s tongue weighs as much as a school bus. • They are on the endangered species list.
